Black Veil Brides

Picture
Early years, record deal and debut album (2006–2010) Black Veil Brides was founded during 2006 using the name Brides with members Andrew Biersack (lead vocals), Johnny Herold (guitar), and Phil Cenedella (bass) in Delhi, Ohio. They were soon contacted via MySpace by Nate Shipp (guitar) and Chris Riesenberg (drums). They started gaining recognition for the song "Knives and Pens". The music video has gained over 26,000,000 views over YouTube.[1]

In late November 2009, David "Pan" Burton left the group due to differences in direction and clashes between members. Shortly after his departure he began the project House of Glass with previous Black Veil Brides guitarist, Chris "Hollywood" Bluser. Demos were posted on Myspace, with lyrics written by Biersack. Black Veil Brides responded, saying that the demos were from their upcoming debut album and that Pan had recorded his vocals over them. Pan claimed he'd written the songs before joining the band and that these demos were the way the songs were originally intended to be. Due to these demos being released before We Stitch These Wounds, the band changed the titles of the songs "Funeral in Flames" to "Beautiful Remains" and "Alive and Burning" to "All Your Hate". However, "Sweet Blasphemy" remained the same.

In September 2009, using the current name, Black Veil Brides signed with the independent label
StandBy Records.[2] The writing process for a tour and a record began immediately. In December 2009, the band embarked on their first US tour entitled "On Leather Wings".

The group's debut album We Stitch These Wounds was released July 13, 2010 and sold over 10,000 copies in its first week, ranking at #36 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, and #1 on the Billboard Independent chart.
[3][4] In late 2010, Black Veil Brides went on tour with bands The Birthday Massacre, Dommin and Aural Vampire.[5] Wikipedia

Annie Lennox-  As one of the world's finest and most outstanding musical voices, singer songwriter Annie Lennox is celebrated as an innovator, an iconoclast, and a symbol of enduring excellence.
Marilyn Manson (born as Brian Hugh Warner on January 5, 1969) is the lead singer of the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA based shock rock group of the same name. Warner chose the name, a combination of Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, to illustrate what he considered to be the extreme dualism of late 20th century American culture. The stage names of each band member were originally created by combining the first name of an iconic female sex symbol and the last name of an iconic mass murderer or serial killer, though this naming convention has not extended to new band members after the mid-90s. Along with Rob Zombie and Eric Burdon he is one of the main performers of the shock rock genre.

Formed in 1989 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids, the band’s uniquely theatrical performances gathered a local cult following that developed over time into a worldwide fanbase. By the late 1990s the band was considered one of modern music’s most widely-known and controversial acts; this was due, in large part, to Manson’s then-frequent clashes with religious and political groups. Manson’s lyrics often receive criticism for their anti-religious sentiment and for references to sex, drugs, and violence (albeit typically in the abstract as opposed to any specific depiction). The band’s music and performances have frequently been called offensive and obscene. Protests and petitions have sometimes led to the group being banned from performing.
After recording private albums, the band released their first full-length album, Fallen, in 2003, which sold more than 15 million copies worldwide and helped the band win two Grammy Awards. A year later, Evanescence released their first live album, Anywhere but home, which sold more than one million copies worldwide. In 2006, the band released their second and latest studio album, The Open Door, which sold more than five million copies.

The band currently consists of Amy Lee (lead vocals, piano, keyboards), Terry Balamo (guitars), and Tim McCord (bass). Former members include David Hodges (piano, keyboards, backing vocals; left in 2002), Ben Moody (guitars; left in 2003), William Boyd (bass; left in 2006), John LeCompt (guitars, backing vocals; fired in 2007), and Rocky Gray (drums; left in 2007). Session members include Troy McLawhorn (guitars) and Will Hunt (drums), both are from Dark New Day, they were “borrowed” to replace LeCompt and Gray during 2007 tours.

Amy Lee and Ben Moody met in 1994 at a youth camp in Little Rock, where Moody heard Lee playing I'd do anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) by Meat Loaf on the piano. Their first songs were Solitude and Give Unto Me, written by Lee, and Understanding and My Immortal, written by Moody. The songs were edited by both artists, and they shared equal credit.
